Abrams has scored numerous feature films, film installations, visual art exhibitions, and a play working with collaborators including award-winning director Steve James (Hoop Dreams), Turner Prize visual artist Simon Starling and NPR.
Abrams has scored feature films including the 10 part documentary series America To Me (2018); the 90th Academy Awards® nominated Abacus: Small Enough To Jail (2017); Life Itself (2014); The Interrupters (2011) (all with Steve James); The Trials of Muhammad Ali (2013); and the NPR animated series StoryCorps (2015). With Simon Starling, Abrams has created music for the play and film At Twilight (2016), Common Guild, Glasgow & Japan Society, New York; the film El Eco (2014), Museo Experimental El Eco, Mexico City; and sound installation The Liminal Trio Plays the Golden Door (2017).
